Erasmus Plus

Erasmus Plus (Erasmus+) is the EU's programme to support education, training, youth and sport in Europe. Its budget will provide opportunities for over 4 million Europeans to study, train, and gain experience abroad. You could be one of them! The Erasmus program has opportunities for a wide variety of individuals and organisations.

Aim

The aim of Erasmus plus is to contribute to the Europe 2020 strategy for growth, jobs, social equity and inclusion, as well as the aims of ET2020, the EU's strategic framework for education and training. Erasmus Plus also aims to promote the sustainable development of its partners in the field of higher education, and contribute to achieving the objectives of the EU Youth Strategy.

Erasmus Plus Opportunities for individuals

Erasmus Plus has opportunities for people of all ages, helping them develop and share knowledge and experience at institutions and organisations in different countries.For nearly 30 years, the EU has funded the Erasmus programme, which has enabled over three million European students to spend part of their studies at another higher education institution or with an organisation in Europe. Erasmus Plus brings such opportunities to all - students, staff, trainees, teachers, volunteers and more. It's not just about Europe or Europeans either - with Erasmus+, people from all over the world can access opportunities. Students Studying abroad is a central part of Erasmus+ and has been shown to have a positive effect on later job prospects. It is also a chance to improve language skills, gain self-confidence and independence and immerse yourself in a new culture. Staff (teaching) With Erasmus Plus, opportunities are available to spend time teaching at an education institution abroad. These opportunities are available to both staff working in the education sector and to individuals working outside the sector invited to share their knowledge and experience. Staff (training) With Erasmus plus, training opportunities are available to staff working in education, both in teaching and non-teaching capacities. Training periods abroad can consist of job shadowing, observation periods or specific training courses abroad. Trainees Erasmus plus helps you gain valuable experience in the workplace by supporting traineeships abroad. Erasmus+ support for traineeships is available for higher education students and recent graduates, as well as vocational education and training students, apprentices and recent graduates.

Erasmus plus has opportunities for a wide range of organisations, including universities, education and training providers, think-tanks, research organisations, and private businesses. Organisations wanting to participate in Erasmus plus may engage in a number of development and networking activities, including strategic improvement of the professional skills of their staff, organisational capacity building, and creating transnational cooperative partnerships with organisations from other countries in order to produce innovative outputs or exchange best practices. In addition, organisations facilitate the learning mobility opportunities for students, education staff, trainees, apprentices, volunteers, youth workers and young people. The benefits for involved organisations include an increased capacity to operate at an international level, improved management methods, access to more funding opportunities and projects, increased ability to prepare, manage, and follow-up projects, as well as a more attractive portfolio of opportunities for learners and staff at participating organisations. Learning Mobility of Individuals Learning mobility opportunities aim to encourage the mobility of students, staff, trainees, apprentices, youth workers and young people. The role of the organisations in this process is to organise these opportunities for individuals. The benefits for the organisations include an increased capacity to operate at an international level, improved management skills, access to more funding opportunities and projects, increased ability to prepare, manage, and follow-up projects, a more attractive portfolio of opportunities for students and staff at participating organisations, the opportunity to develop innovative projects with partners from around the world.

Interprimair's general aim is to promote lifelong learning. We offer Erasmus plus ka1 teacher training courses. We offer to students, teachers, headteachers and experts work placements, in-service training, educational study visits and practical learning experiences. We create a link between the general and vocational education system and the labour market. For all our offerings you can apply for Erasmus funding which can make your training or visit for free.
